Title: [Therapeutic application of kallikrein in idiopathic oligo- and asthenozoospermia (author's transl)]. Author: Maier U, Lunglmayr G. Journal: Wien Med Wochenschr; 1981 Aug 31; 131(15-16):401-3. PubMed ID: 6914103. Abstract: The addition of kallikrein to frozen semen after thawing increases the sperm motility in cases of moderate asthenozoospermia. In native semen maximal increase of motility is found two hours after the addition of kallikrein. In vivo an increase of sperm motility was noted in cases of oligozoospermia and asthenozoospermia during treatment with 600 KE kallikrein/day. The wives of 9 patients with asthenozoospermia became pregnant during kallikrein therapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
