Abstract: A 46-year old male with recurrent rectal bleeding is reported. Extensive radiographic studies, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy failed to demonstrate any pathologic findings. Colonoscopy revealed varices in the rectosigmoid area.
