Abstract: Berberine sulphate in concentrations of 10-25 mg ml -1 inhibited the growth of 11/13 fungi, viz. Alternaria, Aspergillus flavus, Asp. fumigatus, Candida albicans, Curvularia, Drechslera, Fusarium, Mucor, Penicillium, Rhizopus oryzae and Scopulariopsis.
