  • Title: Unsuspected digital nerve lesions responsible for abnormal median sensory responses.
    Author: Jablecki C, Nazemi R.
Journal: Arch Phys Med Rehabil; 1982 Mar; 63(3):135-8. PubMed ID: 7073455.
    Abstract:
A median sensory response with a notched configuration was recorded in 2 patients with old unsuspected lesions of digital nerves. The notch was probably due to the presence in the injured nerves of 2 groups of fibers with different average conduction velocities. Recognition of such a condition is helpful in differentiation from carpal tunnel syndrome.
