Title: Brief prenatal exposure to prednisolone adversely affects behavioral development and body weight. Author: Gandelman R, Guerriero LA. Journal: Neurobehav Toxicol Teratol; 1982; 4(3):289-92. PubMed ID: 7099346. Abstract: Female mice were exposed prenatally via maternal injection to prednisolone. At both the 100 and 300 microgram dosages, prenatal exposure to the drug reduced birth and weaning weights and delayed the attainment of eye-opening, walking, and gripping ability. These effects were observed consequent to as few as 2 maternal injections, one on Day 12 and the other on Day 13 of gestation.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
