  • Title: [Vascular changes in the kidney after blunt abdominal trauma in a child].
    Author: Fritsch R, Kamran D, Haubitz B.
Journal: Rontgenblatter; 1982 Oct; 35(10):380-2. PubMed ID: 7134770.
    Abstract:
A genuine trauma, which had been overlooked at first, resulted in macrohaematuria. Infusion urography showed an enlarged left kidney with delayed and incomplete visualisation of the renal pelvis. Angiography showed swelling of the left kidney and small arterial ruptures with pseudoaneurysmatic contrast medium deposits in the parenchyma. Three months later, the angiogram showed largely normalised vessels.
