Title: Computed tomography of the lumbar epidural veins. Author: Meijenhorst GC. Journal: Radiology; 1982 Dec; 145(3):687-91. PubMed ID: 7146396. Abstract: The author combined high-resolution computed tomography and epidural venography (CT epidural venography) as a means of better demonstrating the morphology of the lumbar epidural veins and their location within the spinal canal. Herniated disks in the lumbar region can be seen without intrathecal enhancement, and selective opacification of the epidural veins shows that they can represent a significant component of the soft-tissue deformity described as a herniated disk.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
