Title: Peliosis hepatis. A specific lesion in the bovine liver. Author: Onda H, Kaneda Y, Ito Y, Wakabayashi T. Journal: Acta Pathol Jpn; 1982 Nov; 32(6):1053-8. PubMed ID: 7158339. Abstract: So-called "Fumyaku-han" of the bovine liver was examined histologically. Localized hemorrhagic foci in the liver have turned out to be blood cavities lined with endothelium associated with hepatic cells. There was no sign of hepatic cell necrosis. The liver lesion was thus identified as phlebectatic type of peliosis hepatis based on histological characteristics and in the light of the literature.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
