Abstract: The incidence of significant asymptomatic bacteriuria was found in 8,14 per cent of 614 nonselected pregnant women's. The method of taking the "clean" middle stream urine is well accepted and valid one, but in some cases it is useful to do the suprapubic puncture of urinary bladder in order to avoid the contamination of urine.
