Abstract: Forty cases of hepatopulmonary amebiasis secondary to hepatic amebiasis are reported. In an endemic area of amebiasis, this entity should always be borne in mind, as the frequent reports of hepatopulmonary amebiasis gives evidence of the magnitude of the problem.
