Title: Impact monitoring of residues in tomato. Author: Kannan N, Jayaraman J. Journal: Int J Environ Anal Chem; 1981; 9(2):145-51. PubMed ID: 7216600. Abstract: Residues of methyl parathion, malathion and fenitrothion were determined in tomato fruits using gas--liquid chromatography. The decline of residues was followed for 14 days. Residues were well below the tolerance limits after 3 days from spraying and show less persistence in the environment.
