Title: [Clinical aspects and prognosis of stomach cancer]. Author: Hünicke H, Schröder H. Journal: Dtsch Z Verdau Stoffwechselkr; 1981; 41(4):192-9. PubMed ID: 7285844. Abstract: Clinical symptoms and prognosis of 380 patients with gastric cancer were reported. Many patients already showed an advanced stage of cancer. In 196 cases curative and in 184 cases palliative surgical operations were carried out. Local spreading, histopathology and rate of metastases are discussed. 10,1% of all gastric cancers survived five years, after curative surgical operation 20,8%. In late follow-up prognosis lethality by relapsing runs to 30,6%. Conclusions with regard to surgical treatment are deduced.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
