PubMed ID: 7302648. Abstract: A Laotian immigrant with persistent cough and hemoptysis was found to have multiple small cavities on chest roentgenogram. Ova of the lung fluke Paragonimus westermani were found in the sputum, and the patient responded to bithionol therapy.
