    Abstract:
    The author examined the EEGs of 10 patients suffering from classic phenylketonuria. The following peculiarities were discovered: a) changes of the basic EEG rhythms which are regarded nowadays as genetically determined ones; b) the less marked individual character of the EEG (typical for normal), the deeper the defect; c) changes of the EEG accompanying the system activity of the brain.
