  • Title: [Agreement between 2 diagnostic intelligence test procedures (HAWIE and MWT-B) in a sample of patients with pronounced psychopathology].
    Author: Wiessner B, Felber W.
Journal: Psychiatr Neurol Med Psychol (Leipz); 1981 Dec; 33(12):744-8. PubMed ID: 7335829.
    Abstract:
In the article a random test in 100 psychopathologically conspicuous patients with the HAWIE and MWT-B methods was studied and the two methods compared. The results obtained with the two procedures show a high degree of agreement (measure correlation coefficient 0.81). The use of the MWT-B for an appraisal of the general intellectual level appears to be justified (also) in these patients, providing they are prepared for co-operation and do not show pronounced impairments in the range of basic performance conditions. Significant deviations were only found for the group of patients below 20 years.
