    Author: Vakhidov VV, Gambarin BL.
Journal: Kardiologiia; 1980 Feb; 20(2):74-8. PubMed ID: 7359821.
    Abstract:
Surgical treatment of 320 patients with occlusive lesions of the terminal aorta and arteries of the lower extremities is analysed. The operation was performed on the aorto-femoral segment in 127 patients, on the femoro-popliteal-tibial segment in 103, and 70 patients underwent sympathectomy. Data concerning the study of tissue processes in the ischemic limb and changes in central and regional hemodynamics after reconstructive operations on the aorta and arteries are discussed. It is noted that long-term conservative treatment with the use of drugs affecting microcirculation is necessary after surgery.
