    Abstract:
    In over 70 years old patients with fractures of the femoral neck there are two problems: the early ambulation to prevent pneumonia and the danger of necrosis of the femoral head. In most cases the necessary preoperative general treatment cannot have regard to the limit of 6 hours. These problems can be solved by implantation of an endoprothesis.
