Title: Cutaneous-mucous infection with lymphadenopathy caused by Mycobacterium chelonei. Author: Zina AM, Depaoli M, Bossano AF. Journal: Dermatologica; 1980; 160(6):376-9. PubMed ID: 7389969. Abstract: A 61-year-old man presented with an eruption of papulonodular lesions on the glans and discharging bilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy. The lesions sprang up as a consequence of urethral dilatations. Mycobacterium chelonei was isolated from the inguinal discharge, while acid-fast bacteria were detected microscopically in a biopsied nodule. The pathogenesis of this infection is discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
