Title: A pituitary abscess simulating an intrasellar tumor. Author: Blackett PR, Bailey JD, Hoffman HJ. Journal: Surg Neurol; 1980 Aug; 14(2):129-31. PubMed ID: 7414496. Abstract: A 16-year-old girl presented with amenorrhea, polyuria, and thirst for eight months and severe headaches for two weeks. Ampicillin and methicillin had been given preoperatively, and postoperatively she required hormonal replacement therapy for anterior and posterior pituitary hypofunction.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
