Title: [A case of unilateral retinitis pigmentosa]. Author: Wochesländer E, Bartl G, Gruber H. Journal: Klin Monbl Augenheilkd; 1980 Feb; 176(2):207-10. PubMed ID: 7420966. Abstract: A case of unilateral retinitis pigmentosa observed over a period of 15 years is reported. The affected eye showed all typical pathologic manifestations, while in the healthy eye all findings--including ERG and EOG-- were normal. In spite of the unequivocal ophthalmological diagnosis the condition should be regarded as a tapetoretinal degeneration with the clinical picture of unilateral retinitis pigmentosa so long as there is no evidence that it is hereditary.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
