    Abstract:
    Report on a 69-year-old woman with exophatalmos in the left eye caused by a plasma-cell tumor. The differential diagnosis of this tumor includes myelomatosis, solitary myeloma of bone and extramedullary plasmacytoma. The clinical features suggest an orbital involvement of myelomatosis. The results of physical examination and findings in axial computer tomography and ultrasonography are discussed.
