  • Title: [Causes for rheographic signal changes].
    Author: Gal'perin IuM, Raeva II.
Journal: Fiziol Zh SSSR Im I M Sechenova; 1980 Oct; 66(10):1506-15. PubMed ID: 7439441.
    Abstract:
The model with perfusing pump revealed that the amplitude and form of the rheographic signal was the function of two simultaneously acting factors: the pulse enhancement of fluid volume in the model and the speed of the fluid flow. This necessitates that causes of circulation changes in the model can only be determined considering changes in plethysmogram and pressure in the outflow system. Using these parameters, a deciding role of alternative determination of the causes of circulation disturbance, is suggested.
