Title: [Dynamics of changes in the number of mast cells in parathymic and mesenteric lymph nodes following antigenic stimulation]. Author: Aseeva ND, Sakharova NG. Journal: Ontogenez; 1980; 11(4):424-6. PubMed ID: 7443182. Abstract: The reaction fomast cells to the antigenic effect was studied in the lymph nodes, regional to the place of antigen introduction, and in the perithymic lymph nodes. The primary reaction of mast cells (3 min) was found in the perithymic lymph node, and the number of mast cells increased in the mesenteric lymph nodes within 3 days only. These changes coincided with the disappearance of mast cells and macrophages from the perithymic lymph node and appearance of many plasma and blast-transformed cells in its medullary cords.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
