  • Title: [A descriptive investigation of the Rorschach-epilepsy-syndrome (author's transl)].
    Author: Zöllner U, Mattli WR.
Journal: Schweiz Arch Neurol Neurochir Psychiatr; 1980; 127(1):157-68. PubMed ID: 7444401.
    Abstract:
By 106 Rorschach-protocols the global Rorschach-epilepsy-syndrome and two partial syndromes with either constrictive or extratensive type of experience balance were tested empirically. The following main questions were analysed: The organic personality change in the Rorschach-test; the correlation between Rorschach-test criteria, psychopathological symptoms and cerebral localisation of the epileptic area. The Rorschach-epilepsy-syndrome is unfit for the global diagnosis of epilepsy. It could not be verified for epileptic disorders in the whole, but only for patients with frontal cerebral lesions. The objective of the psychopathological examination with the Rorschach-test should not be a diagnosis but a differential phenomenological description of the individual state.
