Author: Takayama Y, Kanamaru H, Yokoyama H, Hashimoto H, Yoshino G, Toyoda H, Osawa Y, Ito M, Uenoyama S, Koda Y. Journal: Surg Today; 1995; 25(4):378-80. PubMed ID: 7633133. Abstract: We report the case of a 41-year-old man with pancreatic carcinoma invading the portal vein who was successfully treated by portal vein resection combined with pancreatoduodenectomy and reconstruction using an autointernal jugular vein. Nevertheless, this is the first report of portal vein reconstruction using the internal jugular vein as a graft.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
