Title: [Clinical, radiographic and axiographic control after traction-screw osteosynthesis of fractures of the mandibular condyle region]. Author: Eckelt U, Rasse M. Journal: Rev Stomatol Chir Maxillofac; 1995; 96(3):158-65. PubMed ID: 7644893. Abstract: Clinical, radiographic and electronic axiographic follow-up examinations were performed in 45 patients with a luxation or highly displaced fractures treated with traction screw fixation from 1984 to 1989. Axiographic findings gave an excellent objective evaluation of joint function. The excellent results achieved with traction screw fixation suggest that this method can be recommended for condyleal fractures of the mandible.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
