  • Title: [Medical kerosology: new developments in meteoropathology].
    Author: Grigor'ev II, Grigor'ev AI, Grigor'ev KI.
Journal: Vopr Kurortol Fizioter Lech Fiz Kult; 1995; (2):20-3. PubMed ID: 7660618.
    Abstract:
Current views on mechanisms responsible for sensitivity of the body to weather conditions are presented. Two types of meteorological reactions are recognized: to weather as a whole and to separate meteorological factors. Clinico-meteorological follow-up of 356 patients and healthy subjects aged 7-25 years provided grounds for dividing meteorological reactions into kerosotropic and meteorotropic. Basic concepts of medical kerosology, including medical kerosoprognosis and prevention of kerosotropic reactions are outlined.
