Abstract: The surgical technique of disarticulation in the hip in paraplegic patients with deep decubitus around the trochanter area is presented. The presence of penetrating decubitus calls for early decision of disarticulation, before deteriorating of patients general condition, as it is the only measure to control infection, save patients life and make further rehabilitation possible.
