Journal: Gastroenterol Clin Biol; 1994; 18(11):1028-32. PubMed ID: 7705562. Abstract: Two cases of psoas abscess complicating acute necrotizing pancreatitis are reported. These cases were particular because the abscesses exteriorized in the groin and symptoms were misleading. The abscesses were detected late, three and five months after the beginning of the pancreatitis respectively.
