Title: [Acute vertigo]. Author: Bont A, Früh J. Journal: Ther Umsch; 1995 Mar; 52(3):174-8. PubMed ID: 7725272. Abstract: Among all patients presenting with acute vertigo, majority will be suffering from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis or Meniere's disease. One of the most important central vestibular disorder that imitates labyrinthine dysfunction is vertebrobasilar artery disease. Additionally, duration of vertigo and further neurological symptoms and signs are crucial for correct localization and etiology of the underlying disorder.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
