    Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 1994; 152(5-6):46-50. PubMed ID: 7740685.
    Abstract:
34 patients with middle and big size liver cysts have been undergone surgical treatment. 19 of them underwent treating puncture of the cysts. The character of operations was various and determined by the quality, size topography-anatomic cyst disposition as well as existence of associated diseases in patients. Puncture treatment has been carried out under the control of echolocation. 96% alcohol and 76% solution of verographine were used as sclerosants. The clinic experience has shown that puncture method should be applied more widely and in some cases must introduce the alternative to surgical treatment.
