Abstract: Rat experiments have revealed that surplus sodium chloride intake causes dyslipoproteinemia and intensifies the atherogenic action of propranolol. The new antihypertensive and antiedematous table salt substitute, as sanasole exerts its hypocholesterolemic effect. Both dietary salt mixtures eliminates the atherogenic action of beta-adrenoblocker.
