Title: The what, why and how of hypertensive heart disease. Author: Weber KT. Journal: J Hum Hypertens; 1994 Sep; 8(9):665-75. PubMed ID: 7807496. Abstract: Left ventricular hypertrophy is now recognised to be an important risk factor associated with such adverse cardiovascular events as myocardial infarction, heart failure, stroke and sudden cardiac death. This is true for the general population and those with uncomplicated hypertension. Clinical and experimental studies are presented to address each of these issues.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
