Title: [Malignant lymphoma of the small intestine as a cause of small intestine perforation]. Author: Kramer W, Richter HJ. Journal: Zentralbl Chir; 1994; 119(12):900-3. PubMed ID: 7846973. Abstract: The malignant non-Hodgkin-lymphoma is the main cause of spontaneous extraduodenal small intestine perforation. This rare incidence occurs as a consequence of an enteropathic associated affection manifested extranodally, mostly in the higher part of the jejunum. The diagnosis is made after a spontaneous perforation. The risk of a recurrent perforation is high. In a female patient we made the diagnosis not before resecting the small intestine.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
