Title: Absolute lymphocytopenia as a diagnostic aid in bronchogenic carcinoma. Author: Rao S. Journal: J Assoc Physicians India; 1994 Mar; 42(3):199-200. PubMed ID: 7860507. Abstract: Total lymphocyte count and lymphocyte percentage were calculated in a group of 26 patients of Bronchogenic carcinoma and compared with the values in 22 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis. Patients of Bronchogenic carcinoma had a significant lymphocytopenia as compared to patients of tuberculosis. It is inferred that this peripheral lymphocytopenia can be used as a possible diagnostic pointer in patients of Bronchogenic carcinoma.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
