Title: Renal colic due to Henoch-Schönlein purpura. Author: Robson WL, Leung AK, Mathers MS. Journal: J S C Med Assoc; 1994 Dec; 90(12):592-5. PubMed ID: 7869696. Abstract: A six-year-old boy with Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) presented with renal colic and the passage of tubular-shaped blood clots in the urine. The authors suggest that the renal colic was due to a ureteritis. Ureteritis in patients with HSP may be more common than is generally appreciated.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
