Title: Gastric emphysema due to necrosis from massive gastric distention. Author: Low VH, Thompson RI. Journal: Clin Imaging; 1995; 19(1):34-6. PubMed ID: 7895194. The gas within the gastric wall was seen as lines of bubbles on plain films, echogenic foci with distal reverberation on sonograms, and bubbles on computed tomography scans. Gastric emphysema was due to necrosis, illustrating the importance of recognition of these imaging signs.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
