Title: Delayed presentation of splenic artery pseudoaneurysms following blunt abdominal trauma: case reports. Author: Norotsky MC, Rogers FB, Shackford SR. Journal: J Trauma; 1995 Mar; 38(3):444-7. PubMed ID: 7897735. Abstract: Splenic artery pseudoaneurysms are known to be caused by either pancreatitis or operative trauma. This is the first report of splenic artery pseudoaneurysms following trauma and demonstrates the importance of follow-up computed tomography scans in patients with splenic injuries who are treated nonoperatively.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
