    Abstract:
    The article describes problems of environmental pollution by mercury, the practical experience of hygienic laboratory of Moscow Sanitary Inspectors Centre in research concerning the demercurization by ozonization with the help of OP-1 ozonator. The article represents conclusions about the application of stated method and the necessity too control substances appearing during the work of device.
