    Abstract:
    In the choice of surgical tactics and operative method in bleeding pyloroduodenal ulcer the author suggests forming several uniform groups with concrete recommendations for the terms and types of organ-preserving operations with vagotomy. Tactical principles of treatment, elaborated from clinical material number of urgent and emergency operations to be reduced to 15% (74). Among 74 patients who underwent surgery for urgent and emergency indications the mortality rate was 8.1%. The late-term results were excellent and good in 88% and poor in 12% of patients.
