Title: [Bilateral Hoffa fracture--a rarity]. Author: Heuschen UA, Göhring U, Meeder PJ. Journal: Aktuelle Traumatol; 1994 May; 24(3):83-6. PubMed ID: 8048369. Abstract: The isolated, tangential fracture of the dorsal part of the femoral condylus was first described by Friedrich Busch (1844-1916), a surgeon from Berlin in 1869, and not as always supposed by Albert Hoffa (1859-1907) in 1904. This is a case report describing a bilateral type B3-fracture of the distal femur (AO-fracture-classification) in a 58 year old man. Diagnostic, surgical procedure and outcome are described and discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
