    Abstract:
    Nitrates entering the body of pregnant woman with food and potable water were showed to pass through the placental barrier and get into fetus. Transplacental transfer of nitrates under condition of nitrate overload on the body may result in development of hemic hypoxia, deterioration of biophysical profile of fetus and subsequently compromised infant's condition estimated by Apgar scale.
