Title: [Operation combined with chemotherapy for 63 cases of cervical carcinoma in the Xinjiang Kashi area]. Author: Xiao XH. Journal: Zhonghua Fu Chan Ke Za Zhi; 1993 Oct; 28(10):610-2, 636. Abstract: Seventy-five cases of the Uygur nationality in the Kashi area with II to IV stage cervical carcinoma by intra-arterial chemotherapy on arteria epigastrica inferior were performed from 1987 to 1992. Three chemistry pharmaceuticals were infused by intra-arterial intubation. Among them, 63 patients received radical surgery and then 53 cases were treated by postoperative chemotherapy. The results showed that 2 cases were no response, and 34 cases complete remission 3 patients had lymph node metastases. The metastatic rate was 4.8%. It is suggested that this operation compared with chemotherapy for cervical carcinoma is useful and effective in the area absent radiotherapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
