Title: [Laryngo-tracheobronchial foreign bodies. Apropos of 20 cases]. Author: Mohamed AA. Journal: Bull Soc Pathol Exot; 1993; 86(5):369-71. PubMed ID: 8124108. Abstract: From the study of 20 cases of laryngo-tracheobronchitis foreign bodies, we found that the disease has a highest prevalence rate in children (90%). Male is slightly more concerned than female in a proportion of 55%. Among foreign bodies involved, those from vegetable origin are mostly found (75%). Laryngo-tracheobronchoscopy must be done in optimal conditions. This is a public health problem, and an alternative solution is a family education.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
