Title: [Teratoma of the medullary cone as a cause of peripheral polyneuropathy]. Author: Eide PK, Skullerud K. Journal: Tidsskr Nor Laegeforen; 1994 Apr 20; 114(10):1185-6. PubMed ID: 8209315. Abstract: This paper describes a 45 year-old man who had a teratoma in the conus medullaris. The symptoms started about 20 years earlier, and for several years consisted of peripheral motor and sensory signs. Therefore the disease was interpreted as a motor and sensory neuropathy. The tumour was diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging. Histological examination revealed respiratory epithelium with connective tissue and fat.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
