Title: Micromanipulation of gametes and embryos. Author: Gordon JW. Journal: Methods Enzymol; 1993; 225():207-38. PubMed ID: 8231857. Abstract: The procedures described in this chapter are applicable to problems of oogenesis, fertilization, and early development. Many important procedures have not been described (e.g., pronuclear exchange). However, nearly every experimental manipulation thus far published for the mouse either directly involves the techniques included here or is closely related to them. Therefore, if all of the skills outlined in this chapter are successfully mastered, it should be possible to adapt that knowledge to most or all known experimental protocols. Successful establishment of micromanipulation is certain to have a significant and lasting positive impact on nearly any research program in mammalian development.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
