Title: A histochemical study on the differentiating vertebral column of chick. Author: Chatterjee A, Chatterjee L, Kundu SN. Journal: Acta Histochem; 1976; 56(1):100-6. PubMed ID: 823775. Abstract: 1. The differentiation of the vertebral elements of the cervical region of the chick has been studied from 4 to 23 day age group counted from the day of the commencement of incubation. 2. From the histochemical tests it appears that chondrogenesis does not take place simultaneously in all the areas of the vertebra. 3. Histochemical changes usually follow histological differentiation. 4.
