Abstract: Retinal detachment is one of the most serious complications of spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SEDC). The ocular complication of 12 patients with SEDC was studied. Three patients developed bilateral retinal detachments; five of the six detachments occurred during the period of rapid growth spurt.
