Author: Hayashi S, Hamanaka Y, Sueda T, Matsushima T, Shikata H, Matsuura Y. Journal: Nihon Geka Gakkai Zasshi; 1993 Mar; 94(3):314-7. PubMed ID: 8316206. Abstract: A rare case of adventitial cystic disease of the popliteal artery in 34-year-old male was encountered. The patient visited our hospital with a complaint of intermittent claudication and numbness in the left leg when bending. Angiography indicated a crescent stenosis in the popliteal artery. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed the mass having high density at T2 imaging as which might be compatible to adventitial cystic disease of the artery. Cystectomy was performed and resulted in improvement of symptoms.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
