Abstract: Treatment of sexual dysfunction is an integral part of the rehabilitation of the patient with spinal cord injury. The degree of sexual dysfunction varies with the level and completeness of injury. A multidisciplinary approach is necessary to evaluate and treat these patients. Intracorporeal injections of vasoactive medications or vacuum devices are effective means of restoring erections in selected patients with spinal cord injury.
